How to Use

Mild Curry Powder: Add a couple of teaspoons of mild curry powder to a pan when sauteing vegetable or meat for curries, then add liquids and let the flavours infuse. Alternatively curry powder can be made into a paste and used to marinated meat

Turmeric: Some people like to add a little extra of this spice when preparing curries. It is also delicious on healthy steamed cauliflower or green beans and onions. It is a great spice to complement lentils. You can add turmeric to egg salad to give it an even bolder yellow colour. Turmeric is also very useful when added to juices and smoothies.

Garam Masala: As a rule, garam masala is added at the last step of cooking, almost like a fresh herb. If cooked too long, it becomes bitter. This highly aromatic seasoning serves as an all-purpose blend in Indian cooking, seasoning dishes from lamb and pork to fresh fish to potato and vegetable dishes
