Healthy Coconutty Caramel Slice

Ingredients

🌱 = Get It From The Source 


Base 

65g or 2/3 C almond meal 🌱

55g or 1/3 C coconut flour 🌱

2 Tbsp coconut oil 🌱

2 Tbsp rice malt syrup 🌱

 

Caramel 

90g or 1 C shredded coconut 🌱

16g or 1/4 C tahini 🌱

3 Tbsp coconut oil 🌱

3 Tbsp pure maple syrup 🌱

1 Tbsp water

 

Topping 

3 Tbsp coconut oil 🌱

2 Tbsp rice malt syrup 🌱

1/2 Tbsp nut butter 🌱

1 Tbsp cacao powder 🌱

Method

  1. Line a medium sized square cake tin with baking paper. Combine Base ingredients and press into cake tin. Refrigerate.
  2. Process Caramel ingredients until relatively smooth. Pour over base. Freeze.
  3. Combine topping ingredients with fork until smooth. Pour over caramel and refrigerate or freeze. Store in a sealed container.
