Tofu Knots

Add to Wishlist

Rich and creamy in flavour and incredibly nutritious. An ancient Asian delicacy made from Soybeans, dried and hand tied into little bows. For those looking for alternatives to meat and are looking to reduce meat consumption, tofu is the perfect solution; it is a great protein source but is not highly processed like vegan fake meats. Tofu is also nutritionally more protein dense than having a jackfruit ingredient in place of a meat centre piece too. These are the new Asian cupboard staples you will soon not be able to live without.

Add satisfying texture to your stir-fries & curries or try swapping out pasta for wheat-free, natural tofu knots.

How to Use

Step 1. Simply simmer your Tofu Knots in hot water for 8 minutes until soft then drain. Step 2. Cook to your preferred texture: Soft & Silky: Simmer in a broth or sauce until tender and full of flavour. Crunchy & Crispy: Coat in cornflour and bake at 180°C (356°F) or fry in oil until golden, then finish in your favourite sauce. 3 Top Tips: 1. For a firmer texture, soak the Tofu Knots overnight or for at least 3 hours in cold water, instead of simmering in hot water. 2. If frying, drain on kitchen paper to remove excess oil-work in small batches to maintain crispiness. 3. Take care not to over cook the Tofu Knots, they can become fragile.
