The beans are handpicked in 3–5 rounds, washed in clear water, and 100% sun-dried. They are then slow-roasted to perfection—keeping the entire bean-to-cup process in women’s hands.
About 25% of the beans are grown by women in regions facing inequality and poverty. Since 2004, over 460 Peruvian women began producing organic Fairtrade coffee through the Café Femenino project, now supporting over 1,500 women across Latin America.
