Made by Field Day in Ireland, our Yule candle carries fragrant notes of a winter woodland of pine, fir and moss, with the deep, earthy character of winter woods. It's handmade from vegetable soy wax at Field Day's rural County Down factory, in a tin made for travel and perfect for wandering. Proudly cruelty free and vegan friendly.
Once the candle is finished, the aluminium tin is fully recyclable. Or upcycle it into a tin-can garden: each candle is topped with a wildflower seed paper lid, ready to plant with flowers or herbs.
The Folk collection is an ode to the folk who shaped this land, the ancestors who wandered in the wild, laid down roots and patiently waited out blustery storms. Here's to them, and to you. May you find a home wherever you wander.
How to best care for your candle
To enjoy a clean, long-lasting burn:
- Trim the wick to around 4mm before each use (or whenever you notice smoke).
- Keep your candle still – avoid drafts, vents, fans, or heaters that can cause flickering and black smoke.
- Burning time ~ 40 hours.
